About TrustAlign: Making Sure Your Trust Is Actually Funded
You signed the trust. But did everything actually make it in? TrustAlign is a trust funding service that handles the follow-through after your estate plan is signed: moving, retitling, and aligning your home, accounts, insurance, and business interests with your trust. We work alongside your attorney so the plan you paid for does what you expected.
Meet Rich Pototsky, CEO and Co-Founder
Rich Pototsky is the CEO and co-founder of TrustAlign. A CPA with decades of financial and executive experience, Rich spent years providing personal CFO services to high-net-worth families in South Florida. That work kept surfacing the same problem: well-drafted estate plans that were never fully carried out. Trusts were signed, filed in a binder, and then forgotten, while the house, the brokerage account, and the life insurance were never retitled or aligned with the plan.
TrustAlign was built to close that gap. Rich leads the company with a focus on operational discipline, clear communication, and respect for the client's time. His background running a top-performing firm through complex financial filings shaped how TrustAlign works today: a documented process, confirmations from every institution, and a clean record of what was done.

Why TrustAlign Exists
Many trusts do not work as expected because key assets were never moved, retitled, or aligned with the plan. Signing the trust document is the legal step. Connecting each asset to that trust is the administrative step, and it is the one most often left unfinished.
This follow-through is often called trust funding. It involves deeds, account retitling, beneficiary designation updates, and paperwork with every bank, brokerage, insurer, and business entity involved. Attorneys draft the trust; TrustAlign helps make sure the assets catch up to it.
Assets left outside a trust may still require probate or other additional steps after death. TrustAlign helps identify possible gaps and completes the transfers so your plan is carried out as intended.
What We Do After Your Trust Is Signed
TrustAlign handles the administrative follow-through of trust funding, including:
Real estate: preparing and recording deeds that move your home and other property into the trust
Financial accounts: retitling bank, brokerage, and investment accounts, and updating retirement account beneficiary designations as directed by your attorney
Life insurance and annuities: updating ownership and beneficiary designations
Business interests: assigning LLC, partnership, and closely held company interests to the trust
Personal and digital assets: documenting and aligning assets that do not have a formal title
Institution follow-up and confirmations: tracking every request until each institution confirms the change
Records: delivering a complete funding record you and your attorney can keep on file
We do not provide legal advice and we do not replace your attorney. We carry out the transfers your estate plan calls for.
